Nasirah Canada is first-year acting major and is so excited to be making her main stage debut in Our Lady of 121st Street. She knew she wanted to be in this show the second it was announced because she loves Guirgis’ plays. She is a part of Harambee Gospel Choir and Shenananigans, and last semester she was also in Dog, Sees God by Bert V Royal as presented by Hypnos Theatre and Performance. She would like to thank all of her friends and professors here, and family back home in Seattle for their constant support. Go Hawks!
