Registro de Pajarillo means ‘Register of the Little Bird.’ It is no surprise why E-flat clarinet is smaller and higher-pitched, often able to mimic the sounds of a little bird.  Montilla lets his Latin influence take hold to write a vibrant and exhilarating piece that blends contemporary techniques with traditional styles.
