Rhys Utterback is from Austin, Texas and excited to be entering his third year at Shenandoah University. He is pursuing a B.F.A in Theatre Design & Production (lighting design emphasis) and a minor in Dance. He has worked on many main stage productions at SU and this is his second year at SSMT, most recently as the Associate Lighting Designer for the opera Hansel and Gretel, and the Associate Lighting Designer for the Dancin’ Out Spring Dance Concert.
