Rhys Utterback is from Austin, Texas, and is excited to be entering his third year at Shenandoah University (SU). He is pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Design & Production (lighting design emphasis) and a minor in dance. He has worked on many main stage productions at SU and this is his second year at SSMT, most recently as the associate lighting designer for the opera Hansel and Gretel, and the associate lighting designer for the Dancin’ Out spring dance concert. Utterback would like to thank all of his friends and family for their support.
