Pushing for natural preservation, Cedric Allder’s compositions share perspectives blurring the lines between folk art and contemporary classical art music. His works for chamber ensembles interweave influences of minimalism, the concept of home, and aspects of improvisation, inviting performers to integrate their own perspectives and interpretations into the creative process.

Allder has been recognized internationally, receiving the William Averitt Prize of Excellence in Composition and runner-up for the Dina Koston Composition Prize. His works have been performed in spaces such as the Kühlhaus in Berlin and the Bright Box Theater (Winchester, Virginia), planting his sonic seeds in both America and Europe.
