3:15PM
This family-friendly project is the U.S. premiere of a new children’s opera, Back into the World, commissioned as an educational opera intended for young audiences by the English Touring Opera. This playful, interactive and participatory piece is about “going back out into the world” after the COVID-19 shutdown. It celebrates themes of friendship, teamwork, diversity and nature, and touches on challenges related to understanding and coping with emotions surrounding missing friends, increased anxiety, disruptions to learning and isolation. Families and children of all ages are welcome to come explore the magical land of Exie and help save the day by making music with us!
This production contains one popping noise of confetti in the finale number.
