Anna Lise Jensen relocated from New York City to Miami, Florida, in 2016. She is the recipient of the 2018 Silver Palm Award, 2019 Miami New Times Best Actress in South Florida and 2019 Carbonell Award for Best Actress in a Musical for her portrayal of Francesca in The Bridges of Madison County at Slow Burn Theatre. Prior to COVID-19, she was adjunct theatre faculty for New World School of the Arts Bachelor of Fine Arts and high school magnet programs and ran a flourishing coaching business for young professional actors, singers and musicians.
A classically trained soprano, as well as violinist and pianist, Anna Lise has performed across the United States and Europe as a soloist and performer. Other favorite roles include Mother (Ragtime), Clara (Passion), Alison (Fun Home), Reza (Once), Aldonza (Man of La Mancha), Marian (Music Man), Sarah Brown (Guys and Dolls), Yvonne/Naomi (Sunday in the Park with George) and more (she's old). Additionally, Anna Lise can be heard on numerous cartoon and Spanish-to-English telenovela voiceovers. Anna Lise also works in the tech industry as the Enterprise Technical Project Manager for the Quantum Metric Customer Success Team. She enjoys yoga, cross-stitch and staying home with her husband, Nicholas, and their many, many cats.
