Ian Sabatine (He/Him/His) is a junior dance major pursuing his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance at Shenandoah University (SU). Before attending college, he studied at the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, with teachers Amy Berry, Kimberly Maniscalco, Jennifer Weaver, and Rebecca Moyer who all have a wide variety of knowledge in many styles and choreography. Ian then had the opportunity to attend the National High School Dance Festival in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 2020, where he took classes and learned more about the professional dance world.
At SU, he has performed in numerous student-led concerts, faculty ensemble works, and guest artist concerts, as well as performed his own choreography in solo composition showings. He has had the opportunity to work with guest artists such as Natasha Davis, Danielle Sten-Guillermo and Ginger Cox, as well as professors such as Tiffanie Carson, Daniel Padierna, Mary Robare, Shylo Martinez, Maurice Fraga, Erica Helm, Charlie Maybee and Ting-Yu Chen. After college, Ian plans to pursue a career in dance performance
