Mary Kate “MK” Cawley

Mary Kate “MK” Cawley (she/her) was born in Chicago, Illinois, and raised in Ashburn, Virginia. She started her training at the age of two, at her local dance studio, The Loudoun School of Ballet. She trained there for sixteen years, and decided to continue her education in dance at Shenandoah Conservatory. Cawley is currently a Bachelor of Arts in Dance major, whilst also pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Public Health. While studying at Shenandoah University, she has performed a multitude of works by choreographers such as Tiffanie Carson, Daniel Padierna, Ilana Goldman, Erica Helm, Yoshito Sakarauba and Matt Pardo. Throughout her time at Shenandoah University, Cawley has pursued many different performance and choreographic opportunities, performing in a variety of student works and choreographing her own solos. She also serves as the Sigma Rho Delta secretary, which is the dance based service fraternity at the school. Cawley looks forward to graduation and pursuing all dance related avenues she can.
