Rachel Tomnay (she/her) was born and raised in Chester, Virginia. She attended Thomas Dale High School’s Specialty Center for the Arts, where she was a dancer and choreographer for the Specialty Center Dance Company. She practiced her art at Encore Performing Arts Studio where she was a member of the Collaborative competition team. She won many awards including the Tremendous Technique Award, Star Student and the WOW Award. She has trained in many styles of dance including ballet, tap, contemporary, modern, jazz, hip hop, ballroom and pointe. She currently attends Shenandoah University and is working towards a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance.
