Sarah McMichen can frequently be seen carrying numerous instruments to her next rehearsal at Shenandoah University, where she is pursuing her Doctor of Musical Arts in Woodwind Doubling. Before moving to Winchester, McMichen played for musicals throughout mid-Michigan and appeared as a soloist with the Vintage Parlor Orchestra and Saginaw Eddy Concert Band. She previously studied at Michigan State University, where she received her master’s degree as a woodwind specialist. She spends her free time hiking with her husband and little dog.
