Karsen is ecstatic to be a part of The Wolves as her second production as the Costume Design Fellow with Shenandoah University. She has designed and constructed costumes throughout her career for both professional and academic theaters. Her most recent professional costume design work includes The Taming at Lean Ensemble Theatre (Hilton Head, South Carolina) and acting as resident costume designer for The Barn Theatre's summer season, where she designed for main stage musicals such as Cinderella, Groundhog Day and Rock of Ages. Alongside her design and construction work, Karsen is also a passionate teacher and has taught several design and construction courses at various universities. In her free time, she enjoys crossword puzzles paired with a good cup of coffee.
