This song came to me first in a meme, literally. It was featured in a Tiktok trend that made a play on [adultswim] and their transitions between shows on late night television. The catchy chorus was stuck in my head for days on end but I kept forgetting to look it up. I’m driving around and all of a sudden it comes up on my Discover Weekly playlist on Spotify and I was immediately hooked with the rest of the song that was not featured in the trend. Andie’s voice was inspiring and the lyrics were reminiscent of loss I have experienced. Time does indeed move slowly when you are missing a friend.
