Cassidy Holmes began her music career at the age of eleven with her first voice lesson. She was not raised by musicians, but grew up surrounded by music. Cassidy made her debut in Shenandoah Conservatory’s production of Hydrogen Jukebox as Soprano one. Holmes competed in the Virginia National Teachers Association of Singing (NATS) and was awarded honors. Holmes is pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree in Performance (Voice) at Shenandoah University where she studies under Dr. Byron Jones. Tonight she is portraying Peaseblossom in Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She would like to thank her family for always supporting her, she wouldn’t be where she is now without them. She is so excited for the show and she hopes you enjoy it as much as she does!
