Taylor Hoffmeyer (he/him) is from Sioux Falls, SD. He attends South Dakota State University and will begin his senior year this fall, majoring in Theatre with a minor in Sustainability. His work at State University Theatre has included being the Master Carpenter for the productions Carrie: The Musical and The Little Prince, as well as Sound Designer/Operator for The Hunchback of Notre Dame and She Kills Monsters. This past spring he was the Artistic Director for the student-led Alpha Psi Omega production of Capers 2023. During the past two summers, he has worked for SDSU’s Prairie Repertory Theatre, and his work has been featured as Master Carpenter for Quilters and The Play That Goes Wrong, as well as Sound Designer for Little Shop of Horrors and Footloose. During the summer of 2021, he also had the opportunity to work on the production crew for the film End of the Rope, produced by Canticle Productions. In his spare time, he can often be found in the scene shop helping build something for the next production. He enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching movies, building bonfires, and working on his never-ending list of projects.
