Nick Bruno is native to the Los Angeles area, where he frequently performed with Big Bands, as well as Pop and Latin groups; however, he is currently a freelance Trumpet player and teacher out of the Norman, Oklahoma area. Before settling in Oklahoma, Nick acquired a Bachelors degree in Trumpet Performance from Morehead State University in Eastern Kentucky. Nick is the 1st Trumpet player on A Christmas Story National Broadway Tour and has also had residencies in Waikiki, Hawaii, playing in various Big Bands and Top 40’s Pop groups over the recent years.
