Anita Williams is a Violist, Educator, and Arts Administrator based in Richmond, VA. She holds a BM in Viola performance from Shenandoah University where she studied under Doris Lederer. As a performer, she enjoys chamber music, premiering new works, and exploring music outside of the traditional classical music canon. Along with her position in the education department of the Richmond Symphony, Williams maintains a private studio of violin and viola students, and strives to make music making a joyful experience while pushing for technical excellence. She is thrilled to be returning to SSMT for her fifth season, and looks forward to another summer of live theatre in the Valley!
