Jewel Moore is enjoying her second year in the Master of Music in Pedagogy program at Shenandoah University! She received her Bachelor of Music in voice performance at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, where she was the student leader of the Opera and Oratorio Ensemble. Her solo role experience includes Zita in Gianni Schicchi and Belinda in Dido and Aeneas; and she has enjoyed numerous ensemble roles, including productions of Carmen, Faust, La bohème, Madama Butterfly and Hydrogen Jukebox. In addition to singing, Jewel is also interested in dramaturgy, teaching and composing. She would like to thank her parents and friends for their continued support and love, as well as Dr. Byron Jones for his wisdom and guidance during her time at Shenandoah!
