Blake Mitchell is a second-year graduate student pursuing a Master of Music in Pedagogy with a contemporary commercial music concentration. He completed his bachelor’s degree in voice performance at Samford University, with additional studies in music composition. He was a member of Shenandoah’s Conservatory Choir and serves as a section leader for The Valley Chorale. Some previous roles include Scott Fitzgerald in the workshop and world premiere of The Ghosts of Gatsby, Papageno in The Magic Flute, Nobody in Lucinda y las Flores de la Nochebuena, Vicomte Cascada in The Merry Widow, Professor Bhaer in Little Women and Shem in Children of Eden.
