Javier Busto, born in Hondarribia, Basque Country, is a multifaceted talent. He began as a choir singer in childhood and explored rock and folk music in his youth. While practicing medicine as a family doctor in Lezo, Gipuzkoa, he ventured into choral conducting under Maestro Erwin List. Busto's journey includes conducting the Ederki Basque students’ choir and founding the Eskifaia Choir, winning international awards. In 1995, he established the Kanta Cantemus Korua, also earning accolades. Busto's compositions have garnered prizes and are published worldwide. He is a sought-after guest conductor and competition jury member across the globe and a member of the Tolosa choral contest's technical committee.
