It is my greatest honor to present this piece, featuring the senior dance class of 2024. This is my eighth year setting work specifically on the seniors and it continues to be one of the highlights of my career in academia. It has been an amazing journey to have witnessed these dancers grow from their crazy COVID-19 first year to now where they are thriving in their artistic talent and power. This piece showcases how much confidence they’ve gained and how much growth they’ve had as performance artists. 

Special thanks to Ruddy Frias for his guidance on vogue dancing and culture, which inspired choreography for this piece. An additional special thanks to guest performer and faculty, Daniel Padierna, who is stepping in for December 2023 graduate, Sammy Fossum.
