Originally from small-town Wyoming, Morgan Blaney grew up playing upright bass at a local historic saloon during their Thursday night jam. She co-founded a regional band in high school and performed with this band for nine years.This experience evolved into touring and recording, instructing in upright bass, vocal harmony, and occasionally banjo at bluegrass camps, and double-majoring in upright bass performance in bluegrass and jazz at The University of Northern Colorado – Greeley. After graduating from college, Morgan relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, where she is pursuing her music career. A vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, she has been influenced by jazz, country, folk, and indie genres.
