The Battle of Agincourt was fought on October 25, 1415 — traditionally the feast day of the Christian saints Crispin and Crispinian, twins who were martyred sometime around 286 A.D. This feast day was removed from the Roman Catholic liturgical calendar following the Second Vatican Council (1959–1962).
