Katie Jo Clukey
Dancer

Katie Clukey (she/her) is a dancer and creator originally from Monroe, Michigan. She is trained in many styles of dance, including ballet, jazz, modern, and tap. Katie attended Shenandoah Valley Regional Governor's School to study musical theatre, and has choreographed and performed in a number of musicals including: Newsies, The Addams Family, and Into the Woods (Little Red). Katie has worked with choreographers such as Kim Fields, Dejan Tubic, Mike Esperenza, Tiffanie Carson, Daniel Padierna, Lindsay Browning, and Nicole Corea. She has also attended the Ballet Hispánico summer intensive ChoreoLab, where she worked with Johan Rivera and Eduardo Vilaro. Katie has worked with Busch Gardens Williamsburg as a lead dancer in their summer show Sunny Day Celebration. Most recently, Katie Jo participated in a choreographic residency with DanceWorks Chicago where she worked with artistic director Julie Nakagawa to perform a piece choreographed by Charissa-Lee Barton. Katie is currently studying at Shenandoah University double majoring in dance (B.F.A) and psychology (B.S.).
