Katie is a junior theatre design and production major with an emphasis on lighting design and technical production. They have worked in a variety lighting roles at Shenandoah University over the years and are excited to be adding a new experience to that list. This will be their second opera, having worked as an assistant technical  director for A Midsummer Night’s Dream last season. 

Their previous design work includes being the lighting designer for SU Hornets’ Nest’s production of CLUE! and the assistant lighting designer for Moving Forces (2023) and the 2022 Holiday Gala. Katie has also worked a variety of production roles, the most notable of which was as the assistant production electrician for Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre’s 2022 season featuring Jersey Boys, Hello Dolly!, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
