Gabby Maresco (Run Crew Intern) just finished her junior year at The Crane School of Music where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Music in Music Education, a Vocal Performance Certificate, and a Musical Theatre Minor. Favorite technical theatre credits include Wardrobe manager/electrics for Yokko’s guest artist residency performance of the award-winning “Butoh Medea”, Stage Manager for “Jane Doe” by playwright Mia Rodriguez, Stage manager for SUNY Potsdam’s Spring Dance showcase, Costume Construction for “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and Wardrobe crew for “1984”. On the stage, Gabby recently portrayed Mary in the first full workshop of the Domenic J. Pellicciotti Composition Prize-winning Opera “Computing Venus”. She will be reprising this role in the first fully staged production this upcoming fall at The Crane School of Music. She portrayed Eve in “You And Me and The Space Between” which was selected to perform at the Region 1 Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival and received the National Citizen Artist Award. Other past stage credits include Canary/Caterpillar in the Long Island Premiere of “Alice by Heart”, Peter Quince in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, Day in the National Opera Association Competition winning “The Enchanted Pig”, and Gertrude in “Seussical”. She is thrilled to be a part of the team!
