Amethyst is thrilled to be acting as a stitcher with SSMT this season! With a BFA in Musical Theatre from Southern Illinois University, their background includes working both on stage and off. Amethyst likes to consider themself an all-around theatre generalist and a teaching artist.  In addition to their work as a stitcher, Amethyst is also a costume designer, choreographer, director, and actor. When she's not sewing, Amethyst enjoys hiking, running, and reading. She is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this company and is committed to ensuring that every costume is a work of art.
