Joseph J. Simeone has contributed to the visual arts, dance, and theater since beginning his career under the tutelage of Jim Henson Productions. His first oil portrait was shown at the Corcoran Gallery in Washington, D.C., and he has exhibited at ArtBasel in Miami and Switzerland. A Juilliard alumnus with a major in Dance and studies in music Composition, Simeone has performed with companies such as the MerceCunningham Company and Twyla Tharp, as well as on Broadway in "The Phantom of theOpera," and in leading roles in "A Bronx Tale" and "West Side Story." Mentored by Arthur Laurents and Stephen Schwartz, his latest musical, "Love Affair," is set to premiere in August 2024 at The Legacy Theater in Branford, CT. His performances also include roles in "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" at the Paper Mill Playhouse, "Little Dancer" at the Kennedy Center, and "A Chorus Line," "Irma La Douce," and "Zorba" at the NewYork City Center.
