Joe's favorite roles in SSMT were Nicely Nicely in Guys And Dolls, Ali Hakim in Oklahoma!, FDR in Annie, Sitting Bull in Annie Get Your Gun, and Major General in Pirates of Pinzance.  He also played Max in a National Tour of Sound Of Music starring Barry Williams. He appeared in two Helen Hayes award-winning musicals: Assassins and Passion at Signature Theatre
