Nicole Sugarman (she/her) is a recent musical theatre graduate with a passion for empowering artists with consent-based practices to promote safety. She has served as intimacy director on numerous Shenandoah theatre productions including Spring Awakening, Carousel, Reefer Madness, The Importance of Being Ernest, I and You, The Song of Achilles (world premiere) and A Midsummer Night's Dream. Nicole came to intimacy direction through her work in consent and sexual assault prevention as a head peer mentor at the Shenandoah [Not Just] Women’s Center, where she worked to educate the college community and advocate for survivors.
