Christopher Limjuco is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Conducting (Choral) degree at Shenandoah Conservatory under the direction of Dr. Richard W. Robbins. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in voice performance from Ave Maria University where he studied under Dr. Brice Gerlach and Dr. Taylor Ferranti. He was awarded the Eunice Leopold Scholarship and the Ave Maria University Music Scholarship to help fund his studies and won third place in the Tampa Bay Chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing competition in Florida. After graduating from Ave Maria University, he began his career as a music teacher, conductor, and music minister in the Central and Southwest Florida areas.
Limjuco has conducted ensembles such as the Ave Maria University Chamber Choir, Ave Maria Parish Choir, Shenandoah Voices, and the Shenandoah University Conservatory Choir. He has performed for Shenandoah Conservatory Chamber Choir’s in Native American Inspirations: A Music Drama in Voice for La Biennale di Venezia in 2022. An accomplished baritone singer, he has also sung with the St. Mary's River Concert Choir and Naples Philharmonic Choir and has performed in a few operas prior to Acis and Galatea. Limjuco played the roles of Balthazar in Amahl and the Night Visitors, Peter Quince in A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Representative in A Game of Chance and has been in the ensemble for Turandot and Moscow, Cheryomuski. He maintains an active membership with the American Choral Directors Association, the National Association for Music Education, and the Virginia Music Educators Association. AMDG.
