Sophia Alvini-Moore is a cello teacher and performer in the greater Winchester area. They are currently studying cello performance and pedagogy at Shenandoah Conservatory with renowned teacher and artist Julian Schwarz and minoring in Spanish. Sophia has an affinity for Baroque music and is very excited to be performing Handel’s Acis and Galatea. When not playing or teaching cello, Sophia enjoys roller skating, working in their garden, and tutoring music theory.
