In Dulci Jubilo is a traditional German-Latin macaronic carol, thought to have originated in the fourteenth century. The text alternates between Latin and vernacular German, celebrating the Nativity with joyous devotion. Matthew Culloton sets the English version of this carol in a fresh and reverent fashion, infusing the melody with contemporary harmonies.
