Caleb Eberhardt is an award-winning actor whose credits boast appearances in world-premieres by some of America’s most critically acclaimed playwrights including Branden Jacobs-Jenkins (The Comeuppance - OBIE Special Citation), and Aleshea Harris (Is God Is, On Sugarland - AUDELCO nomination). He made his Broadway debut in Tarell Alvin McCraney’s Choir Boy, which received a 2019 Tony nomination for Best Play. His return to Broadway in 2024 garnered him one of two Drama League Distinguished Performance nominations (alongside his performance in The Comeuppance) for his portrayal of Hovstad in the Tony winning revival of An Enemy of the People. He was most recently seen onstage as the lead in La Jolla Playhouse's west coast premiere of the Pulitzer Prize winning play Primary Trust.
A frequent onscreen actor as well, recent credits include Chiwetel Ejiofor’s Rob Peace, Manodrome, Chestnut, and Judas and the Black Messiah.
Also a notable recording artist under the moniker Rosehardt, he released his first full length album Songs in the Key of Solitude in 2018 to wide-spread acclaim. His live performance of the album's lead single Fall Into You on the popular YouTube channel COLORS currently boasts upward of 3,000,000 views. Between 2020 and 2022 he released 2 self-described "mini-albums", how are you?, vol. 1 & 2. His most recent release, the world gets smaller each day it seems to shrink, marks his most ambitious foray into music. It was released in May of this year.
Prior to his achievements as a solo artist, Eberhardt released 4 albums (including one double album) with his hip-hop group Quincy Vidal, which he formed with former classmate and fellow actor/musician LeAsha Julius.
He received his BFA at the Conservatory of Theatre Arts at SUNY Purchase.
