PETER WISE (Percussion) is a Lucille Lortel award winning musician, sound designer and artist who grew up playing music in Stockbridge, MA. He has toured with an eclectic array of bands and ensembles including Newspeak, JG Thirlwell’s Maxorexia, Bobby Previte's VooDoo Orchestra, Alarm Will Sound and Forever House. Theater credits include: Heather Christian's Oratorio for Living Things (Ars Nova); Banana Bag and Bodice/Jason Craig/Dave Malloy: Beowulf: A Thousand Years of Baggage (Edinburgh Fringe, American Repertory Theater, Joe’s Pub); PASSAGE (Shire City Sanctuary/Bazaar Productions); The Waypoint (Mass MoCA, artist in residence). Peter studied percussion at SUNY Stony Brook and the Eastman School of Music, where he received the school’s first certificate in World Music. He was one of the co-founding artistic directors of The Berkshire Fringe. He currently owns and runs Square Candy Design, a web design agency specializing in composers, musicians and non-profits.
