Christen Clifford is an actor, artist, writer, professor, mother, and is making her first film, which is supported by the Independent Film Project (now Gotham) and Women Make Movies; the trailer won a Women in Film award and screened at Netflix. She was an IFP Documentary Screen Forward Fellow.  She teaches at The New School and curates at Dixon Place. She is the winner of the Gregory Millard Nonfiction Fellowship from NYFA, as well as grants from Creative Catalyst, Foundation for Contemporary Arts, LMCC, NYSCA, and a Feminist-in-Residence Fellowship at Project for Empty Space.
