Mat graduated from Maine Central Institute (MCI) with the Class of 2023 and then completed a postgraduate year, which he finished this past June. After that, he joined the American Midwest Ballet in Omaha, Nebraska.

Mat has danced with BBT for six years. During his time here, he performed many memorable classical roles, including Albrecht in Giselle, José in Carmen, the Mouse King in The Nutcracker, and the Toreador in Don Quixote.

Mat’s dedication and passion for ballet have driven him to continually refine his craft, making him a remarkable artist. His journey with BBT has been defined by hard work and continuous growth, leaving a lasting impression on both his peers and audiences alike.
