Guillermo Franco
Uncle Drosselmeyer / BBT Program Manager

Guillermo Franco is a Mexican psychologist, actor, creator, and dancer. His artistic path began in musical theater drawn to the possibility of training in dance, acting, and singing simultaneously. He gradually expanded toward classical Ballet, Physical Theater, and Depth-Psychology oriented approaches to the creative process.

He first trained at the Artestudio Performing Arts Center in Mexico City, later deepened his ballet work with Bossov Ballet Theatre in Maine, and went on to study Physical Theater and Devised Creation at the International School of Theater Creation and Movement “CABUIA” in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He subsequently earned his degree in Psychology from Universidad Latinoamericana in Mexico City.

Since 2016, Guillermo has collaborated with BBT as a dancer and actor in productions such as Don Quixote, The Nutcracker, Giselle, Swan Lake and Romeo and Juliet. He also worked as Stage Manager for The Nutcracker in 2018 and 2019 at the Waterville Opera House and has served as a Physical Theater Instructor for BBT’s Summer Intensives. In 2022 he joined the organization as Program Manager, a role he continues to hold.

Over more than fifteen years, his interest in psychology and performance has guided an exploration of depth-psychology oriented perspectives and their resonance with the body in motion.
