Montse is from Mexico. She's always been passionate about dancing. She took her first ballet class at the age of 3, and got certified with The Royal Ballet after some years of study. She also trained on Irish dance, where she received some 1st place medals for her variations. Afterwards, she got into 'Proart Centro de Danza' where she continued her dance studies on jazz technique, flamenco and Cuban ballet technique. After the pandemic, she started training at 'Pointé Dance Academy'. During an intensive workshop in Mexico she met Artistic Director Natalya Getman, who "opened her eyes to the beauty of ballet". She was invited to participate in the Summer Intensive Program at Maine Central Institute, where she danced as a Peasant and as a 'Willi' Corps de Ballet in the production of Giselle 2022. Montse is currently enrolled as a PG student at MCI.
