Eric hails from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and comes from a family of professional musicians, making his path almost inevitable. He began piano at age 3, saxophone at 8, and guitar at 11, performing in school ensembles, training classically, and exploring everything from jazz to hard rock.
His musical direction locked in when he received The Beatles’ Rubber Soul on CD in 1996. He became a devoted Beatles fan, learning their entire catalog throughout his childhood and eventually performing in his first paid band, a small Beatles tribute based out of his dad’s music store in Hatboro, PA. From there, Eric moved into original music, touring nationally and overseas, showcasing for labels like Island and Universal, and opening for acts such as The Script, Parachute, Mae, Matt and Kim, and The Early November. He later became a fixture in the Northeast cover scene with bands like Go Go Gadjet and Burnt Sienna, and also launched a dueling-pianos act called Piano Fight Club. In 2024, he officially joined Magical Mystery Doors.
Having played nearly every style and stage imaginable, Eric is thrilled to return to the classic rock that shaped him. Whether channeling Ray Manzarek’s tones or ripping Zeppelin riffs, his lifelong love of The Beatles remains unmistakable—especially when he hits songs like “Helter Skelter” or “Let It Be.” Eric brings nonstop energy onstage and crucial production work offstage, helping shape the show’s unique vibe. He loves meeting fans after shows and hopes to meet many more as MMD continues its journey.
