Colton began his musical career by learning to play the trumpet in junior high; from there he expanded his range with the addition of bass and acoustic guitar and the keyboard. It wasn't until later that Colton discovered his unbelievable vocal gift and developed a passion for singing, heavily influenced by Frank Sinatra and Michael Bublé. Colton's original song "Take Me In Your Arms" was featured in the film, "The Investigator," released nationally in 2013. Colton has been featured as both a vocalist and solo trumpet in the State College of Florida Jazz Band and won the Solo Jazz Competition at the Florida State Community College Symposium in 2012. He was featured as a solo vocalist with the Venice Pops Orchestra and the Sarasota Pops Orchestra.
