Seth Chrisman is a bassist and multi-instrumentalist from Knoxville, TN. At the age of 16, Seth began to learn to play the bass after discovering the Canadian rock band Rush. Not long after this, Seth saw Get The Led Out for the first time in 2016. It was after seeing GTLO that Seth knew he had found his true calling. He knew then that he wanted to dedicate the rest of his life to not only being a musician and bassist, but to the preservation and proclamation of rock 'n’ roll music and its rich history.
Seth’s professional career as a bassist began at 20 years of age with blues-rock band Stone Broke Saints. One standout gig while in this band was opening for Whiskey Myers at The Shed at Smokey Mountain Harley Davidson in 2019. During his time with Stone Broke Saints, Seth and the band went on to play many club dates and a number of radio show appearances. This was all while he was a student of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville studying musicology and jazz.
After withdrawing from UTK during the Covid-19 pandemic to pursue other avenues in his music career, Seth joined southern-rock band, The Dirty Gospel. Their debut album, “Higher Ground” received some airplay locally and internationally. As a result, they were given the opportunity to open for such bands as the Steel Woods, Kentucky Headhunters, and Quiet Riot.
In 2023 Seth moved to Nashville for a brief time to find more work as a bassist shortly before becoming involved with GTLO. Outside of the band, Seth studies music, writes his own, and plays occasionally in other side projects.
