J.D. King is a versatile and seasoned musician, teacher, writer, composer, guitarist, drummer, vocalist, and banjoist that’s been performing live since the age of thirteen. Inspired by his dad at a very young age, he has been playing in numerous projects around the Chicago and Northwest Indiana area for more than 20 years. J.D.’s passion for music has allowed him to share the stage with renowned artists such as Lynyrd Skynyrd, John Michael Montgomery, Jo Dee Messina, Joe Diffie, Mike Reilly of the Gregg Allman Band, and Steel Magnolia.
He currently travels the United States with one of the best CCR tribute bands in the world, Creedence Revived, and is a founding member of the Kankakee area award winning band, Coopers Grove, which plays in and around the South Chicago area and recently released their second album, Rivers Run.
