Alan picked up the bass and guitar at 14 years old, and instantly knew that's what he wanted to do for a living. he went on to study at North Glasgow College, and worked with various wedding bands until he auditioned for the Red Hot Chili Peppers (yes, bagpipes!). He played bass with them from 2011-2018, and switch to guitar duties 2018-2023.

His gig highlights include BBC Proms in the Park, T in the Park, Fuji Rock Festival, and playing at the Bahrain F1 Grand Prix.

When Alan's not rocking out on stage, he enjoys running, playing tennis, drinking IPA, and watching old Formula 1 races. 

He's the newest member of One Night of Queen family, rocking out with us as of January 2024!
