Brittny discovered her love of performing and teaching dance in her hometown of Bay City, Michigan. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Western Michigan University (WMU), where she traveled to China and Taiwan through a Student Global Initiative to perform, co-teach, and learn traditional Chinese dances. Brittny has had the opportunity to perform with many different artists including Eddy Ocampo, Lauren Edson, Nelly van Bommel, KT Nelson, Gabrielle Lamb and Peter Chu. She performed Lauren Edson’s work Foreground for the National College Dance Festival at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC, and was a top 100 competitor on So You Think You Can Dance?, Season 10 in Las Vegas.
Since relocating to Conway, South Carolina, Brittny has performed in family shows around Myrtle Beach, trained in Barre Method Fitness classes, and was a featured soloist in Stravinsky’s The History of a Soldier with the Long Bay Symphony. When she’s not performing or teaching, Brittny loves spending time at home with her fiancé and three children. She is thrilled to be back on the stage performing with the Carolina Opry this Christmas season!
