As a Senior Lecturer at the University of Kentucky, Zachary serves as Production Manager and Technical Director for the Department of Theater and Dance. He is co-author of both the Illustrated Theatre Production Guide and The Technical Director's Toolkit, and has professional credits including work as Technical Director for the Utah Shakespeare Festival. Originally from Louisville, he received a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Theatre from the University of Evansville and a Masters of Fine Arts in Technical Production for the Theatre from Florida State University. Currently he  serves as a commissioner for the Technical Production Commission of the United States Institute for Theatre Technology.
