From the Greater Cincinnati area, soprano Ashley Patak is pursuing a Doctorate of Musical Arts from the University of Kentucky where she studies under Master’s in Music Performance under the study of Dr. Angelique Clay.Ashley received her Masters of Music at the University of Kentucky under the tutelage of Professor Cynthia Lawrence. She was a recipient of the Cassiana Schmidt Award Scholarship and enjoyed her time as a choral scholar. She is an alum of Northern Kentucky University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance.
Ashley has enjoyed singing a number of roles including Miss Goldentrill in Der Schauspieldirektor, Laurie in The Tender Land, and Laetitia in Old Maid and the Thief. She has also appeared in performances with Cincinnati Chamber Opera, ROKCincy Opera Outreach, and the Mayfestival Chorus. She appeared with Chicago Summer Opera in their production of Albert Herring, covering Miss Wordsworth and performing the role of Harry.
