Kennedy Hamilton is a student at the University of Kentucky, pursuing a degree in Dance and Social Work. Her dance training began under Sherry Barnard of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, exploring competitive, recreational, and pre-professional techniques with a focus on classical ballet, modern, and jazz. She expanded her academic and artistic understanding of performance at the Governor’s School for the Arts in 2023 and additionally through teaching, choreographing, and advocating for the arts in local schools. Within the Department of Theatre and Dance, she is working towards performances at the Kentucky Dance Festival, the American College Dance Association, and Visions in Motion: Dance Concert.
