Aunt Leaf is an experimental, immersive play by Barbara Wiechmann that explores storytelling, imagination, and human connection. Set in the courtyard of the University of Kentucky College of Fine Arts, the performance places the audience inside the world of the story.

The play follows Annabelle as she learns to tell stories to her aging Aunt Leaf. What begins as fragments and small fibs grows into bold, vivid tales, revealing how stories shape relationships.

Audience members are free to move throughout the space and experience the piece from different perspectives. Please do not touch or speak to the actors, and be respectful of performers and fellow audience members.

Directed by Zander Chojnacki, Aunt Leaf invites you to step inside the act of storytelling itself.
