Maximus Taylor is a 3rd year bass-baritone undergraduate currently studying Vocal Performance at the University of Kentucky under Dr. Michael Preacely. He is a first place winner of the Alltech Vocal Scholarship, Hal Leonard Vocal, Medici International Music, and KANM Spiritual competitions. Max has participated in summer programs with the Schmidt Vocal Institute and with the Canto Vocal Program and has been a member of the chorus for Carmen, La Boheme, Susannah, and Hansel and Gretel. Making his principal role debut as Masetto in Don Giovanni, other roles have included St. Peter in Too Many Sopranos, the Father in Hansel and Gretel, Aram in A Nation of Others, and both the roles of Figaro and Antonio in Le Nozze di Figaro. He wants to thank his family and friends, the UKOT, Alltech and all of the people that have made his vocal dreams possible for their support.
